My mother swerved to keep from hitting a vehicle entering the highway. She ended up in the oncoming traffic lane. Her car was hit by a pick up truck, spun and was hit again by the truck. Traffic was not heavy and it was on a rural road. Her air bags did not deploy in spite of multiple strikes. We will never know if her car cut off due to an ignition problem or it was faulty air bags.
On the first incident, when driving at 40 MPH started shaking like it wanted to stall and stopped accelerating. The next day when stopped at a light it started shaking and the RPM gauge was going up and down. It didn't happen again until about a month later, which is when I took it in, but the dealership couldn't replicate the problem. It kept happening -- the car would start shaking while driving like it wanted to stall and would slow down.
My 2009 aveo5 2009. My brakes keep going out. But I am having to replace my wheel bearings 3 times in last 3 years. I don't understand why. I am scared because the back one is now making lots of noise so I know it's another wheel bearing grinding.is this considered in the recall of 2014 on aveo 5 2009.
