Tl* the contact owns a 2015 chevrolet cruze. While pulling into the driveway, strong fumes emitted inside the vehicle and within the air vents. The contact turned off the air conditioner and the engine overheating warning indicator illuminated, and smoke entered the vehicle. The contact was able to turn off the vehicle and she and a child passenger exited the vehicle. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 18,148.
Instrument cluster flickers. Then radio goes out. Warnings for stablitrack, cruise control and antilock brakes. Gauges go down. Power steering goes out and car jerks suddenly. Occurs repeatedly when the car has been operating about an hour with highway speeds around 65MPH.
