Dt*: the contact stated there was a rattling sound coming from inside the dashboard. The vehicle was taken to a service dealer where failed welds were found on the body seam under the front seat. The manufacturer was not notified.
The forward dash has contyto crack and break apartvat several areas including the passenger side airbag location. This is a know problem with GM and they only offer "goodwill" assistance for customers just outside the bumper to bumper warranty. Repairs cost over 1000.00 for this issue that can sometimes have to be done multiple times. Looking to finally getting this addressed and not swept under the rug.
