What owners wrote
As I applied my brakes to stop for traffic in front of me my brakes failed causing me to hit the vehicle in front of me. There had been no warning that the brake system had an issue but upon inspection of the brake lines that come out of the master cylinder it appears that one of these stainless steel lines has failed.
Tl* the contact owns a 2004 chevrolet tahoe. The power steering shaft and the brakes werenot operating normally. The brake calipers, rotors, pads and brake lines were repaired, due to the passenger front brake smoking with a lift flame. The failure mileage was 20,000. The contact stated that due to the year of the vehicle the failures should not have occurred. The current mileage is 26,000.
