Tl* the contact owns a 2007 dodge grand caravan. The contact attempted to start the ignition three times and the engine immediately stalled. The vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. The vehicle continued to remain at the dealer for further investigation where the contact was awaiting a diagnosis of the failure. The manufacturer was also notified of the problem. In addition, the wiring to the dome light was faulty which caused the dome light to melt two years prior to the most recent failure.
Vehicle stalls intermittently while driving shortly after filling up with fuel. Vehicle continues to stall periodically without any known consistency. During the stall, the engine cuts out and the steering wheel locks up. This has occurred several times in the parking lot after filling up and while entering the roadway after filling up. This a very dangerous and serious concern for when a loss of power occurs on the roadway serious and potentially fatal accidents may occur.
