What owners wrote

Just like the thousands of other my rear sliding door is locked shut and will not open. It started as a buzzing sound then completely failed. This is a huge safety issue and now my almost new van with only 54,000 miles is worthless. The whole point of buying it is to have the two sliding doors. The dealer says it will be $1,700 to fix. I promise this much. If dodge does not do a recall on this specific issue I will never purchase from them again. This is ridiculous that there is no recall already on the doors.

Reported at 54,000 miles, October 2020 Injury

Drivers sliding door won't open. It's stuck in the lock position which makes it a huge safety issue. Door worked one evening but next day went to open the door & it wouldn't open. Pressing the key fob unlock & the unlock button on the drivers door doesn't do anything. No noise or anything when pressing unlock button. From all the research I've done, it seems this is a common occurrence & should be a recall as this is a safety issue.
