Brake booster has failed, and now engine won't idle properly and stalls due to vacuum leak from the bad brake booster. I had reported symptoms (hissing, occasional hard pedal, etc.) during service visits while my "bumper to bumper" warranty was still in effect, but was told it was "noise from the new brake pads" and it just needed the brake fluid topped off.
