What owners wrote

Five days after taking delivery of my 2014 ford edge I got into the vehicle and noticed a hairline crack in the windshield starting roughly in the center from the base of the windshield going upward in a sinuous direction. The car had 295 miles on it at the time. No stones or rocks hit the windshield. I immediately called my sales person to report the crack as I felt it was a manufacture defect rather than driver negligence fixed by an insurance claim.

Reported at 295 miles, June 2014

The contact owns a 2014 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at an undisclosed speed, the sunroof unexpectedly exploded. The contact stated that there was no impact to the sunroof to have caused the sunroof glass to explode. There were no injuries sustained. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised the contact to file a complaint with the NHTSA Hotline.
