What owners wrote
In 1996 I was driving at about 35-40 MPH. A vehicle to my right began to come into my lane. To avoid an accident I swirved to the left then corrected back to the right. This was not an out of control maneuver. When correcting back to the right, the vehicle moved sideways and proceeded to rollover onto a grassy median.
While driving 45 MPH, vehicle lost steering control. Consumer was able to pull vehicle off the road without an incident or any further damage. Vehicle was towed to the dealer, and dealer informed consumer that steering gear box broke and needed to be replaced. Repair completed 9/18/03. Consumer noted he purchased the vehicle new and with 27k miles on it, it has already been in the shop twice in one year.
