Consumer was fueling truck with gas when it suddenly shot back out of tank and went all over him; arms , stomach, etc. Reported this to gas station where he was filling his tank at the time. Recall 93v125, however consumer's vehicle is not included, consumer was injured by the gasoline burns. *slc
This is about a fuel tank delivery and air induction bulletin, cross tank fuel flow problem my ford f250 truck is having. I have notified my local dealership and ford customer service, they both say there is no recall for this vehicle. But I found a NHTSA campaign # 93v12500 describing exactly what has been happening for the last 6 months. It needs to be fixed and is expensive, but I can't get any satisfaction from ford, I'm hoping you can help. Updated 04/15/10.
