I own a 1999 ford f-350 I parked in my drive way at 8 pm on janurary 1 and woke up at to a loud boom at 5 am in the morning . Ford sent me a recall notice on december 30 was going to set a appointment on janurary 2 unfortunately the truck burned monday morning. Also have a ford expedition looked up the vehicle identification number and it to has the same problem ford has yet to send me a recall notice. Now arguing with insurance company they want to give me nothing for my truck.
