Both steering tie rods malfunctioned, causing vehicle to lose control, resulting in fatalities. Also driver's air bag was defective.
Tl*the contact owns a 1995 ford mustang. While the vehicle was at a complete stop, the contact noticed smoke coming from the glove compartment area. He investigated under the hood and did not see any smoke in the engine compartment. When he started the ignition, he heard a very loud boom sound, and noticed that the passenger side air bag deployed. The passenger compartment became filled with gas and chemicals from the air bag. There were no warning indicators illuminated.
