What owners wrote
My car stuck in reverse and I couldn't get the car out of gear. I had to drive the vehicle around the block backwards to get it in the garage. Then called a tow truck and took it to ford. Luckily this happend in my neighborhood and not on a busy street. I or my passengers might have been injured by traffic. We would not be able to get out of the way. Ford says they knew that there might be a problem but did not disclose this potentially dangerous problem to me at the time of sale only 19 days ago.
I bought a 2000 ford mustang and three days later I noticed the shift indicator position marker on the floor was not showing what gear the car was in. This could cause an accident during day and most likely during night driving and could also cause tranmission problems not being able to see the gear shift position.
