What owners wrote
Engine failure caused by no compression in 2 cylinders. Vehicle is a 2000 taraus with 71,000 mile 3.0 liter engine. Dealer says I need a new engine. Ford district service manager unwilling to offer any financial assistance towards the repair. A car should not need a new engine at 71,000 miles. I have properly maintained this car.
Dt: the vehicle did not start. When the key was placed in the ignition and turned, there was no sound. If the car is driven for a long period of time, it will not start back up after being shut off.
