Reported at 20,000 miles, February 2020 CrashInjury

On july 7th, 2020 I was turning into a parking space at my employers. My foot was on the brake as I coasted into the parking spot. The auto suddenly lurched, accelerated, jumped the curb and hit a brick wall. My foot was on the brake the entire time. The wall is what stopped the auto. I reported this to honda. They evaluated the auto and found no computer notifications of a malfunction and therefore no issues with the car. I no longer feel comfortable driving this auto.

When driving at 53 MPH a loud humming sound emanates in the interior of my car. This has repeated itself multiple times warm and cool weather at same speed. This was a new purchase.

The major problem is that the passenger air bag will not activate when somebody between 65 pounds and 89 pounds set in the passenger seat. Honda owner's manual on page 63 states that the air bag is activated at 65 pounds. In the year that we have had this car, with my wife in the passenger seat, the air bag has never been active. The seat bell warring will say put on seat belt, but the air bag will never activate while driving. See attached email to NHTSA and honda in february, april and may.
