On [XXX] just got off [XXX] driving on [XXX] street when there a red came on on my dashboard, then as if someone else stepped on my accelarator. The Honda Accord 2017 hybrid started accelerating. There were cars in front of me, I believed next to me that I am going to crash into. My only option was to turn to the left to stop the car from me hitting another driver. I went into the divider and hit a tree which stopped the car. My car is in the body shop right now pending estimate and insurance recommendation.
