What owners wrote

I was slowly making a left turn into and pulling into a front end in parking space with my foot on the brake, the car as already going straight into the parking space when the car suddenly accelerated, could not be slowed down or stopped by the brake, jumped the curb, and crashed into the building. Air bag did not deploy.

Reported at 47,000 miles, July 2018 CrashInjury

The vehicle does not always start when you pressed the start button and only clicks. This can be dangerous if the car stalls in a busy intersection or rail road crossing and the vehicle cannot be started. To start the vehicle (keyless w/fob), you have to press the brake and press the start button. It appears that the brake pedal pressure and the starting of the car may be part of the issue as we have noticed that the car will more likely start when the brake pedal is soft vs. Hard.
