Reported at 21,000 miles, January 2009 CrashInjury

Car was idling waiting as a gas station, foot on brakes, in drive gear, all of a sudden, the engine started to rev up (like car in neutral and pressing the gas pedal), I shifted to park and pulled the emergency brakes. Car stopped revving. Car was returned to the dealer the next day. They could not duplicate the problem. Again, on or about september 23, 2008, it happened again while waiting on line at the gas station. Did the same as before, shifted to park, pulled emergency brakes on. Revving stopped.
