What owners wrote

The speedometer and tachometer failed during the trip on highway, I brought the van to the dealer, but they don't have the parts and don't know when the parts will become available. Driving without speedometer could be dangerous especially in winter conditions.

February 1999

Driving thru the mountain from kanab ut to flagstaff az on hwy 89 (scenic route) the transmission began to whine and tach out at 7000-8000 rpms in d4. Vehicle would not respond, as if slipping. Then down shifted to d3 and the same thing happened. Out in the middle of nowhere, they limped into flagstaff at d2 and 40 MPH. Notified that the transmission was gone and needed to be replaced. Honda refuses to assist with repairs even though they have know about their design flaw for years.
