What owners wrote

Child operated button too close automatic rear passenger door and reached behind for seat belt. It was dark and the child was feeling around for the belt, when the door closed on child's hand and crushed fingers. This was in the rear part of the door, next to where the seat belt anchor is. Child was screaming and parent operated driver side door open button to release hand. Fingers are badly bruised. There is no warning that fingers can get caught in the rear, so it was unexpected.

Reported at 22,000 miles, March 2014 Injury

Driver's side rear door handle for sliding door came off in my hand when I was trying to get my child out of the vehicle in 2016. Took vehicle into the dealership for repair and they stated that the handle must have come off due to alleged and impossible "damage" even though the handle was never subjected to anything but normal everyday use. In 2018, the door handle on the passenger side came off in the same manner even though we have been even more careful with the handles after the first incident.
