Minivan was parked at night in our home garage and spontaneously went on fire. All recommended factory maintenance was always performed. No recall for our vehicle existed. Significant risk to property and loss of life. Pushed it out of garage to save family and home.
Van's electrical suddenly cut off in the middle of traffic losing power - thankfully a parking lot entrance was nearby and was able to barely steer it into the parking lot. I had my children with me. Found out it was recurring problem with the valve cover gasket leaking oil onto the alternator. Similar problem with recalled hyundai veracruz - same engine layout - but no recall on the hyundai entourage.
