What owners wrote

I was involved in a single vehicle accident at 5 am on October 5, 2023 on a rural road in Deland, Florida. I was on an unfamiliar road with a sharp curve and as I was trying to slow down the I was unable to slow down or steer the vehicle. It slammed into a cluster of trees and immediately the engine caught fire. I crawled out of the vehicle in pain from the force of the crash and was disoriented. A good Samaritan came to my aide and called the Volusia County Sherriff.

October 2023 CrashFireInjury

Oil change and recall completed 3,000 miles ago for oil consumption issue. Drove 3,000 miles and stalled on roadway immediately following a right hand turn. During shutdown there was steering control loss. Pulled car off road and checked dipstick. Dipstick was dry. Added 2.5 quarts oil. This car still consumes approximately .75 quarts of oil per 1,000 miles. Will restart oil consumption test with jeep dealer immediately. Consumer stated he would like the case closed, issue has been resolved.
