Tl* the contact owned a 2019 jeep cherokee. After the vehicle had been driven for approximately seven minutes, it caught fire after being parked for five minutes. The fire department was contacted and was able to extinguish the fire. The vehicle was destroyed. A fire report was filed. The contact stated that several weeks before the fire, she noticed a burning odor coming from under the hood of the vehicle. The vehicle was scheduled to be towed from the scene, which was still pending.
Purchased the vehicle brand new in november 2018 and on several occasions within the past couple months, including today, the red brake light on the dash has spontaneously activated. Most of the time it occurs when I come to a stop light and auto shut off kicks on, however, this issue is very serious since its basically stalling my vehicle while in route, and is very scary since I drive my child around.
