Dt*: the contact stated while placing the vehicle from park into drive the vehicle suddenly accelerated. The brakes were firmly applied trying to stop the vehicle. The brake application did not stop the vehicle. The vehicle crashed through the garage wall ,causing extensive property damage. Along with the smell of burning rubber from the tires there was a hot smell coming from the vehicle. There were no warning signs prior to this incident. The vehicle has not been inspected to determine the cause of the problem.
