What owners wrote
As I was driving down my driveway I stopped to get the newspaper. After I has gotten out of the vehicle the car began rolling. I had left the driver's side door open and tried to reach the foot brake and couldn't, so I tried to reach the emergency brake and couldn't. The vehicle went over the curb into a neighbor's yard and then through another yard before hitting a tree.
Engine was left running while in park, I got out of jeep it shifted its self into reverse it traveled about 30 feet than hit a tree. This model is suppose to have a feature . That does not allow the shifter to move until brake pedal is pressed.
