What owners wrote
While parked transmission jumped out of park and went into drive. Vehicle took off, almost ran over driver,but was pulled out by a friend. Nonetheless driver suffered a broke ankle and was treated at hospital. There was a lot of damage to vehicle.
Brandow chrysler notified me that 2000 jeep grand cherokee transmission requires replacement. The vehicle has 56,000 miles and has properly maintained. Upon review of similar issues from other 1999/2000 jeep owners with transmission problems, I am filing this complaint due to lack of notice by brandow or daimler chrysler regarding transmission issues with this vehicle.
