On tuesday 10/3/2017 around 5:35 pm we were driving the 2013 mkx on callaghan road under construction and stopped behind another car waiting for the one lane traffic to move forward when the mkx unexpectedly revved up and lunged towards the rear of the car in front of us. We immediately recognized this as sua sudden unintended acceleration. The driver had to apply additional pressure on the brakes to hold the car back.
