Tl* the contact owned a 2006 nissan armada. While driving approximately 35 MPH and attempting to stop the vehicle, the brake pedal fractured while being depressed and caused the contact's vehicle to crash into the rear of a second vehicle. During the crash, the vehicle was destroyed and the front end was severely damaged; however, the air bags did not deploy. A police report was filed and the vehicle was towed. The driver sustained a concussion and the front passenger sustained a neck abrasion.
Sometime in mid august 2008, my wife and daughter were out running errands in our 2006 armada. She came home and told me about the "brake" light coming on, severe front end "shuddering" as she applied the brakes and difficulty stopping. I went out to the vehicle, turned it on, the brake light was not on. I drove the vehicle around for about 20 minutes with no problems. I did slow even stops, hard "emergency type" stops, braking around corners. Not a single problem.
Dt*: the contact stated while driving 85 MPH over dry asphalt roads, the left side seat belt in the third row became detached from the frame of the vehicle, rendering the seat belt useless. The vehicle was not seen by a dealer.
The emergency and importance to recall my vehicle which is a 06 nissan armada and I'm sure there is plenty more out there. The issue is that my brakes will not engage out of nowhere. They will stop working and it feels as if the brakes are locking and grinding . This happens when going down hill , the most dangerous times it has happened to me is driving while in the freeway.
