What owners wrote

I have a 2006 nissan murano and for the past several months the driver side "sun visor" has failed to stay in the up position. This is a serious safety issue as while driving the visor drops down and obstructs the view of the driver! I have been to the dealer and was told that this was a systemic issue on all nissan murano's and that they have had literally hundreds of complaints. They told me that it was not under warranty and "should have been a recall item" due to the serious safety risk!

The driver side sun visor does not stay up. It keeps falling. I have spoken to nissan and they said it is not a warranty item. I have searched the nissan forums and read where one nissan mechanic, (metro273) said that this is a faulty problem with the sun visor and he has repaired many. To my point this presents a hazard for the driver because if the car is in motion and this thing falls down, the driver has to make a split decision by taking his eyes off the road to remove the obstacle that is blocking his or her…
