Dt*: the contact stated after the rearview mirror was checked at 50 MPH, the vehicle collided with a dump truck and was dragged by the truck. The contact had no recollection of events after checking the mirror. The contact hit the steering wheel, although the seatbelt was worn. The airbags did not deploy and the contact's sternum fractured. The vehicle was towed to a dealership and a police report was taken. The dealership determined the airbag sensor was not struck and the airbags should not have deployed.
Traveling at 35 MPH approaching intersection where light had turned red. Began decelerating as I approached the stopped traffic. Getting closer, to the stopped traffic, I began to brake. I felt a "catch" on the brake pedal, and then it failed and went all the way to the floor. I tried braking four or five times again, but the brake went to the floor and I watched as if in "slow motion" as I knew I would be hitting a large auto transport truck in front of me.
On a very foggy morning, was doing about 45 m.p.h.,realized I was coming up on a stop sign in my 2006 murano. I stepped on the brakes, like usual and nothing happened. I slammed on the brakes, after normal pressure didn't work. My car failed to stop after I pushed the brake pedal as hard and fast as I could. I slid I think the brakes locked. I skidded through a stop sign, resulting in being hit by another car. My car was totaled. The other driver's car was most likely destroyed, also.
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 nissan murano. The contact stated that the fuel pump would unexpectedly shut off and stop pumping fuel whenever she refueled. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, who was running a diagnostic test to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 10,000.
When making a left hand turn, I heard a crack underneath the driver's side. Afterwards the seat now rocks back and forth and lifts up when making turns. I have searched all over the web and it seems this is a known defect with nissan drivers side seats on some of their vehicles to the point that they issued a technical service bulletin. I am very disappointed with the fact that nissan is not standing behind their products. I drive a 2006 nissan murano and it only has 51,000 miles on it.
