The driver side airbag did not deploy in a major accident involving totaling the entire car. The passenger airbag deployed, but not the driver airbag. The vehicle was in motion, driving down the interstate and involved in a head-on collision, going 70 miles per hour.
Our son was leaving long pond, harwich ma recreational parking lot at a regular driving speed, there are pot holes in the parking lot there but he did not go over them any faster or slower than normal. The air bags went off a few seconds after going through one of the pot holes but he did not go through the pot hole any faster or slower than he has been through the parking lot before.
