My wife was in a head on crash, a man turned left in front of her she hit him. The wreak was head on for her truck and side impact for him. Thank god she was wearing her seat belt because no air bags were deployed. The speed limit in that area is 45 MPH. How does a head on crash at 45 MPH not deploy on the driver side? We bought the car used from an independent dealer in dallas tx in 2010.
Nissan 2003 pathfinder le I was allowing my pathfinder to warm, the temperature was low that morning. Depressing the brake I moved to the first gear which is reverse needing to put it in drive, which is the third gear down. As it was put into reverse the vehicle starting to shake and vibrate uncontrollably I tried to put it into park again and the gear would not move I let off the brake a little to see if it would relieve the shaking and vibration.
My 2007 nissan pathfinder (with curtain airbags) was rear-ended and totaled. The third row seats were crushed and the third row windows were blown out. The airbags in the third row did not deploy. Why? The pathfinder has optional curtain airbags, but I know that was my number 1 request from the dealer since I have 3 children and I carpool.
For the past week when ever I drove my car the entire vehicle shudders, shakes and has a harsh upshift when it is changing gears. It happens the most on highways going at high speeds (55-65 miles). I took my car into a nissan dealership on 1-29-14 to get it checked out. The dealership diagnosed my car with a "broken trans cooler line in radiator which made the coolant leak and mixed with transmission fluid.
I was driving my 2007 pathfinder with my 3 children in the back when the tires suddenly seemed to be slipping. I wasn't sure what was going on until I was on a big hill and car suddenly wouldn't go into gear. The transmission had blown on me, almost instantaneoulsy with little to no warning signs. The car started rolling backwards on the hill and luckily nobody was behind us. I hit the breaks and stopped the car.
