I was driving on route "a" state blacktop coming into a sharp corner and when I applied the brakes the front wheels began to shimmy very hard. It caused the 2005 nissan titan pickup to lose contact with the highway causing it to leave the road and overturn. The truck was totaled and I received minor injuries. Air bag and seat belt saved me. Nissan knows they have a problem and I was not notified about a possible brake problem until it wrecked me.
Dt*: the contact stated while approaching a stop sign at 15-20MPH, the brake pedal was depressed, the front wheels started shaking and the steering wheel became difficult to control. The contact does not recall how the brake pedal felt during braking. The brake pedal was released; the vehicle continued through the intersection and struck an oncoming vehicle. There were no warning indicators prior to the brake failure. The police filed a report at the scene.
My husband was in an accident and the airbags on our 2005 nissan titan () did not deploy in spite on the whole front of the truck being smashed in. I have contacted nissan several times and they will not call me back.
I was driving my truck home from work and rear started making noises within a mile from home.luckily it was around midnight and no one was on the road when it went out as I turned onto my road and into the driveway where there was no movement out of truck.I had to engage the 4x4 to get it out of the way in my driveway.I haven't had it repaired just yet due to the fact it is out of warranty.luckily I wasn't on the way somewhere with my wife and daughter in the truck and it went out because it could have been a bad…
I own a 2005 nissan titan pickup which I drive mainly in the winter due to my job requiring me to go into work in every snow storm. I have only 128,000 mi on my truck. The truck sits in the summer to save on gas. After the truck sat for three months this summer had to change a leaky oil pan from rust. Once that was fixed I took it out to ready it for inspection. While driving came to a stop sign brake pedal went to floor. Tried pumping pedal and had no brakes at all.
