Dt*: the contact stated while driving on a paved road there was loose gravel causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle. The vehicle rolled twice down a hill and the frontal airbags did not deploy. A police report was filed at the scene and three passengers sustained injuries. The vehicle was towed to a tow yard. The dealership was contacted. The contact had not received a copy of police report.
On april 16, 2007 thenissan titan' driver side rear door caught on fire. There was nothing in the door pocket that could have ignited, just a bottle of water, and the keys were out of the ignition. The fire appeared to have started around the speaker area and spread to the rest of the door panel. I got the fire put out before it spread to the rest of the truck, but the rear seat and door were destroyed.
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 nissan titan. The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 MPH, the vehicle skid on ice and crashed into a median. The air bags did not deploy. 2006 nissan titan 4x4 currently with 80,200 miles. Left and right rear axle oil leak. At approximately 65000 miles, during a transmission oil change at a nissan dealer, mechanic noticed the passenger rear axle was leaking. The service representative stated it would be about $500.00 to repair. He also stated that no recall had been issued. After having the engine oil changed on july 2012, I noticed my driver side rear axle leaking now. Several similar issues have been posted online.
Rear differential seals leaked on brake assemblies. Gear oil was present on brake assemblies, wheels and tires. I replaced left and right side differential seals and bearings. An allignment was necessary and was performed.
