What owners wrote

A few complaints as filed, shortened and with personal details removed. The first ones are among the most serious reports for this model year; the rest are typical.

While backing up, my vehicle collided with a an approaching vehicle due to reduced rear visibility. At the time of the incident, the rearview camera system did not display any image on the center screen. There were no warning messages or indicators alerting me to a malfunction prior to or during the incident. The loss of rear camera function put my safety and the safety of others at risk, as I was relying on the system for visibility behind the vehicle.

January 2025 Crash

I got my Polestar 2 in November and just realized my 19" Michelin Primacy 4 tires are summer tires. I live in the Northeast US where the weather gets very cold and we get a lot of snow. I looked at my window sticker and it doesn't say anything about summer tires. I'm surprised that Polestar / Volvo negligently put summer tires on a NON-performance model and did not inform customers like me in snowy regions - this is very dangerous!
