My 2007 g6 lost steering yesterday and I slammed my brakes and skid across four lanes. Luckily it was night and there were no cars . I turned my car of at the gas station then back on and the steering returned. Then today I saw the recall for GM but the pontiac g6 is not on there . GM needs to put them on the recall also before someone really gets hurt. I also ran over a dog last week and killed it, what if that was a child?

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 pontiac g6. While driving 10 MPH, the vehicle made a knocking sound when turning right and left. The dealer stated that the vehicle needed an intermediate shaft. The contact feels that this is a safety issue because the noise was very unfamiliar. The vehicle is currently at the dealer for repairs. The current mileage was 48,403 and failure mileage was 44,000.
