My 2007 g6 lost steering yesterday and I slammed my brakes and skid across four lanes. Luckily it was night and there were no cars . I turned my car of at the gas station then back on and the steering returned. Then today I saw the recall for GM but the pontiac g6 is not on there . GM needs to put them on the recall also before someone really gets hurt. I also ran over a dog last week and killed it, what if that was a child?
I turned into a parking lot not going no more than 15 MPH and my tired blew and by the tire blowing it pulled my car into a pole that be in the parking lots and again I was not going more than 15 MPH and when my side passengerside struck the pole it deployed my air bags. Noted the car was not hit in the front nor damaged to where the airbags were suppose to come out. Before that when I drive my car my airbag service air bags lights would come on.
Tl*the contact owns a 2007 pontiac g6. At 55 MPH the vehicle struck a deer on the highway. The air bags did not deploy. The front side of the vehicle and the hood were damaged. Also, passengers sustained injuries. The weather conditions were favorable. The contact could provide a police report and pictures. The current and failure mileage were 500. The consumer states there are 5 sensor points, 3 sensor points hit during the accident. Update *4/23/07 *
My brake lights come on with out me even touching the brake peddle. I have replaced the brake light switch 4 times already. With one of them being today. On my way home tonight the brake lights came back on. After doing some research it seems like I'm not the only one with this problem. I'm afraid that this is going to cause an accident . When I step on the brake peddle the lights go out. So if I had to stop quick the car behind me might not know that I'm stopping and hit me. Is there a recall on this issue?
I was pulled over by good samaritans to let me know my brake lights were on while driving but completely off when in use. After research on internet this is highly common in these cars. I found a fix online until I was pulled over again by good samaritans. I am 7 months pregnant with two small children in this vehicle I have no way to know if they are working or not unless my father does a brake check some days they work some days they don't.
