Tl*the contact owns a 2007 saturn vue. While driving 65 MPH, the passenger side rear bridgestone tire failed and the front driver side air bag deployed. The vehicle went airborne onto the side of the road. The vehicle was destroyed and the driver was bruised. The on-star system failed to work. The contact stated that a state trooper arrived at the scene, but did not file a report. The insurance company currently has the vehicle. The contact has pictures of the vehicle.
Tl*the contacts daughter owns a 2007 saturn vue. The contact stated that her daughter experienced a blow out on the rear passenger side tire, which caused the vehicle to crash into trees, and rollover. The vehicle was destroyed. The contact's daughter sustained injuries. The DOT number and engine size was unavailable. The VIN appeared to be invalid. The current and failure mileages were 13,000 miles.
I was driving in my subdivision and the curtain air bags went off in my 2007 saturn vue hybrid. I swerved and ran into a tree causing massive frontal damage and the driver-side air bag to deploy. My 3-year-old daughter was in the back passenger child car seat and was ok but I was diagnosed with chest, knee, hip, and nose contusions, still healing after 4+ days. The car was a total loss per allstate. I have no idea what caused the curtain air bags to go off but see on carcomplaints.com there are many airbag issues.
Ignition key fell out of ignition while vehicle was in motion. It has happened several times since over the years. It can easily be removed from the ignition even when in the park position. Key can come out of ignition no matter if the key is new, a copy, or showing any wear. I have never kept anything other than one house key and the manufacturer's fab attached since I first took ownership of this vehicle.
Tamara ( unknown to consumer ), I wrote many times on this issue and have not received any response from anyone. Passenger airbag and seatbelt alert lights malfunction. This has been an issue very early in distribution of this vehicle as it was already replaced once within 2 years of leaving saturn dealership in august 2006. I can only say god help GM if anything happens to a passenger of mine due to this issue with all the complaints made by myself and others and it keeps on going ignored.
