My air bags did not deploy during an accident where a construction truck hit my car causing me to hit a tree and roll. My father died as a result of this accident. Now that a problem with the air bags not deploying in this type car I wonder if this is what happened. Toyota did not inspect vehicle. Lawyers engineer said because of occupants bouncing around ' car couldn't tell where everyone was and therefore air bag deployment was not commanded. Consumer stated "don't believe toyota was ever notified of incident.

On March 12, 2025, I was involved in a frontal collision when another vehicle unexpectedly pulled out in front of me. Impact occurred to the front-left area of my vehicle. Despite the nature of the collision, the front airbags did not deploy. The vehicle is subject to Safety Recall 20TA03, which addresses incomplete or non-deployment of airbags and/or seat belt pretensioners due to ECU susceptibility to electrical noise in certain crash scenarios.
I was driving my corolla s plus 2014 on el camino real, san mateo, ca southbound just past hillsdale blvd, when the engine became very noisy. I looked at the instrument panel and found the followings data: 1) RPM meter - 3500 2) speedometer - 30MPH 3) lcd display - eco bar gone the car behaved the same even when I took my foot completely off the accelerator pedal. Transmission defect and/or computer malfunction? Luckily I was able to pull my car to the roadside and braked to a stop. I turned the engine off.
Driver and passenger side locks get stuck when using the beeper or the door buttons, trying to lock or unlock them. I thought it was the beeper but it doesn't even lock/unlock using the doors buttons. I already know toyota corolla owners who have the lock stuck problem, so this is not only my car, but there's more cars with the same problem.
