Vehicle parked and turned off at my home. Many hours later vehicle was discovered by a one of my children on fire . Resulting fire destroyed the auto and ignited a major fire to my residence.
During frontal impact at 34+MPH, airbag did not deploy; driver hit steering wheel and passed out; brakes did not function properly either (was serviced by BMW dealership less than 2 months ago); vehicle slid straight into car in front of it and brakes did not engage properly with driver pressing brake petal
This past winter I took my BMW in twice (mar 28, 2014 and apr 22, 2014) because a clicking noise I hear when driving and it was assumed that the noise was related to low temp outside. On may 23, 2014 I notice the clicking noise again. I currently have 2548 miles on my car. The anchorage BMW could not figure out what was causing the noise. They were unable to reproduce the noise.
Recently started to lose power steering assistance while driving. Took it to chevy dealer, they said there was a bulletin (not a recall) about a sensor that needed to be replaced. They told me I was within the parameters of the problem but the warranty of part expired. This makes no sense since it is a safety issue.
