What owners wrote
After striking a tree at 5 MPH vehicle caught on fire and burned. Consumer sustained a foot injury, and taken by ambulance to a hospital.
Stability control system randomly engages. The car then sometimes vibrates or shutters (brake engaging?) and on two occasions the car tugged to the left. A service stability control message also randomly appears. A cadillac dealer diagnosed the problem as a faulty steering sensor. The repair is not covered by GM and a price of $405 was quoted to fix the problem. Because a safety system malfunctions and affects control of the vehicle, a safety recall should be implemented.
