What owners wrote
Brought truck into auto dealership and firestone dealership, and both told me that my tire is delaminating. Both told me this is from driving with a flat tire. This tire has never been flat, nor has it ever been low. This is the second issue I have had with the firestone tires on this truck. (tiresize: p265/75r)
Dt: the contact stated the ABS sensor has been replaced twice. This failure almost caused two accidents. Both ABS sensors malfunctioned within 10,000 miles. The dealership replaced the first sensor because it was oxidized to the hub assembly. The second sensor was cleaned. There was a NHTSA recall campaign 05v379000 concerning the anti lock brakes, but the contact's state was not included in the recall. The tire were cupped and had to be replaced due to a vibration coming from the vehicle. Updated 01/11/06.
