What owners wrote

While driving on I90 in stop and go traffic, the car in front of me stopped. I applied my brakes and the pedal was hard and would not depress. As a result my car would not stop and I hit the car in front of me in the rear end. My air bags went off. I received an air bag burn. The car in front of me struck the car in front of him. Both other drivers claim they were injured. My car cost $15,300 to repair.

Chevy is aware of this issue. The brake vacuum pump needs to be moved onto a broader recall and not just under a "special coverage" this past weekend at gas pump our break pedal and the ability of the car to stop almost caused a major tragic accident. Fortunately last minute the truck stopped after I put both feet on the pedal and pushed as hard as I could. This issue left unresolved will get someone killed.
