While traveling 15-20 MPH and as a result of an accident air bags did not deploy at any time, causing injury to passenger. Because of the accident, the hood, bumper, front fender, radiator, fan the heavy duty frame were damaged and had to be replaced.
Fuel injector pump stopped working and from all of information I found it seemed to me it should have been a recall. We had a accident in 2005 from the stalling of the pump, and was told by the body shop it was the cause of the wreck. We have spent money on sensors trying to repair to finally be told that the vp-44 code was the fuel injector pump, and will need to be replace and that certain companies have made a special part to repair this and could prevent this from happening. Why can't dodge repair?
Subject vehicle hit black ice and spun out of control into a light pole striking the left front of the vehicle. Serious injuries, do to airbag failure to deploy.
1) the vehicle was being used to tow a 16' flatbed trailer, with the purpose of picking up a load of hay. The trailer was not yet loaded at the time of the incident. 2) the hood of the vehicle flew open while the vehicle was being driven down a state highway, creating the potential for a serious crash. The ring into which the latch hooks came free of the vehicle, causing the failure. 3) to date, the local dealer and dodge (daimler chrysler) have declined to act on the complaint.
From the first 6000 miles-3 intake manifold gaskets, new tires, blow out & damaged truck, brakes ,calipers and rotors bad, transmission not right, steering not right two rear axle seals blown, new engine at 63,000. It is now blown (we believe, the computer system & torque converter should have been replaced for the start). We have all our paperwork dealership does not!!!!!!!! Warranty company does. We maintained this truck extremely well!!!!! We bought a total piece of junk.
