I was involved in an accident in motion over 35MPH on a highway and my air bags did not go off. A young man turning left from the south lane across the north lane failed to yield to me traveling in the north lane. All air bag recalls on my vehicle have been completed as shown on the attached form.
Our first issue with the LT 265/70R17 was in 2020. We had a defective front driver ( tread came completely off the tire) of a Dodge Ram 2500. Replaced it and bought another new one, both new in front now @Sam’s Club. Drove to CA. On the way home, back left tire (drivers side) EXPLODED !! on hwy.10. Lost control of the truck and went off into the center divider, the truck rolled over and was completely destroyed. My wife had a concussion and had to have shoulder surgery due to the roll over.
Tl* - the contact stated during a crash the vehicle's airbags did not deploy. The contact stated on 11/18/07 he was travelling approximately 60 MPH and he hit a guard rail head on. The road conditions were dry. The contact wore a seat belt. The vehicle did not stop, it flipped over the rail and struck a tree. The vehicle continued , and the right front passenger side hit a tree. The windows shattered on the driver side back door, the headlights were knocked out and he believed the framewere cracked.
In early 2010 the left tie rod end sheared off at about 3-5 MPH had truck towed to dealer , dealer replaced all tie rod components . On 2/10/12 it sheared off again towed to dealer again we will see what happens now because my extended service contract has expired.
Death wobble when hitting rough bridge on interstate at 65 MPH, and slowing down to about 30 MPH to get it to stop, very dangerous when you have to slow down to that speed on the interstate with tractor trailers behind me.
