During vehicle accident vehicle went off road and rolled over several times resulting in three deaths, possible suspension stability failure.
Design of safety belt system does not contain enough belts for occupants of vehicle, which could have contributed to the injuries or deaths during vehicle collision.
Employee fatally injured in crash 06/05/00. Air bag did not deploy. Air bag sensor appears to have been replaced in march 2000, after coming on and blinking. Collision was with a fixed object at approximately 30-40 MPH, on left front corner of vehicle. Have there been similar failures reported? From the accident report it appeared that the driver lost control of the vehicle while it was raining.
Front coil springs snapped, had to replaced with reading spring works, they had to send the specks to chicago. My ford aero star 4 wheel drive & 4.0 v6 is not available from after market. The only option is to buy new or used ford springs which are made in china. The local ford dealer admits replacing coil & leaf springs on several models. Midas was so busy replacing ford springs, they could not set up an appointment to install springs even if I had the springs.
