2015 Ford Expedition cruise control problems

Tl* the contact rented a 2015 ford expedition. While driving approximately 30 MPH, the vehicle accelerated independently and crashed through a telephone pole and a tree. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact stated that smoke entered the vehicle after the crash. The vehicle was towed to an independent facility. A police report was filed. There were no injuries. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

It statred out the car lost power an went 5mls an hour. I thugaht the trainny had gone but turned out no!! I called the dealer I got it from said he was sure it was the throatle body as it was still moveing. Told me to turn it on an off tri to reset it an so I did an yes it did the 1st time but after that it took off going 80 refused to stop I had to litterly push all brakes on an pull the key to get it to stop..
