Driving on highway at 70MPH, I saw my speedometer momentarily drop to 40MPH. It did it again about 15 seconds later, and downshifted to about 4th gear momentarily. About a minute later, still at 70MPH the speedometer dropped, and the transmission downshifted to 1st gear! My rear wheels locked up, and I lost control, and fishtailed for a few seconds. Luckily I had taken a half day vacation and was not in rush hour traffic. Still other cars had to swerve to keep from being hit.
