I was driving north (on cruise control approx. 55 MPH) on I 75 near mile marker 78 when my 1993 ford f150 starting smoking under the hood. I pulled over and opened the hood and saw the engine in flames. I had a fire extinguisher in the cab so I used it to put out the fire. There was also a trail of fire under the truck that a good samaritan extinguised after he stopped to help. I called aaa to tow my truck to a local firestone service center for repairs.
