What owners wrote

I was involved in a serious car accident on sunday of last week. While in the right-hand lane of interstate 95 in boynton beach, florida, my 2008 mustang was hit in the rear by an apparently speeding motorist. I was traveling between 55-60 MPH and accelerating to achieve pace with the other cars on the highway. My car was struck in the rear, and propelled forward striking a minivan in front to me.

Takata recall--driver side inflator was repaired july 2016. In june 2016 received additional recall for passenger airbag inflator. It has been more than a year since notification. My vehicle is in the priority due to age and I am zone 1. I contacted the dealer in october 2016 and was advised they expected parts in january 2017. As of this date I have heard nothing . We are at risk for liability if I carry a passenger. It is not unreasonable to expect resolution after waiting a year and having a priority vehicle.
